The sun emits lights in the visible spectrum pretty equally, with all colors of the rainbow well represented. But we think of our white sun as “yellow” because we have historically looked at it through the filter of a blue atmosphere, and white - blue = yellow. But once you get above the atmosphere you can see the sun for what it really is: a blazing incandescent ball of white-hot rage.
