“I’m marrying you because you’ve been mine from the day you saved my life. I’ve loved you for sixteen years, Halla. I’ve fought countless battles and worked my way through the ranks of cyclops warriors to become First Warrior, because I knew that when I was king, I could have you. I’ve never wanted anything but you.”
“You’ve never…?” He shakes his head. “Of course not. I waited for you.”
