Your mental is tied to that thang that looks good but ain’t worth nothing if you were to remove the nice suit, wig, makeup, leggings and grey sweat pants. But you stay connected to it because it’s comfortable.
People of God destroy the tie by cutting it off, up, out or whatever you have to do. Maybe you can’t cut it up, but you can move. See, sometimes our mental can be tied to a person or place because we’re still staying where
Bible says in Ecclesiastes six and nine, “Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless—like chasing the wind.”
Without faith, we must fight in the flesh but with faith, we sit back and allow the word to do the work.
