“If you want to catch me, you’ll have to be faster than that, Ox.”
“I have never wanted to commit murder as much as I do now,” he admitted, but the anger was gone, and Aysel was almost certain she saw a kind of amused admiration in his stony gaze. She could not help grinning. “I have been told I have that effect on people.”
It was not normal to want to kiss a woman he also wanted to strangle.
“Do you know what one of your problems is?” “You are my only problem.”
“Slow isn’t always a bad thing,” he said. “Let me show you.”
She was amazing, a bundle of chaos and storm that he had never known he wanted.
“Run fast, Little Fox,” he whispered to the air. “You don’t want me to catch you this time.”
“You’re the only man I know who can go from never drinking to finishing an entire bottle by himself and still get up in relative working order the next day,”
“Any woman who sees you and claims not to want to climb you like a tree is a damned liar,”
