i dream the life i yearn every day sometimes a lot of times most times i pretend i am living it acting out scenes of my own desired play the writer the scientist the adventurer i read my script i rehearse my role i play my favorite act as me the girl who lives

i’m not good with relationships but i like being alone it’s what i know it’s what i’m good at like an inevitability that i’ve grown used to becoming scientific fact that cannot be disputed the moon has its stars and the sun sets alone

my soulmate out there beware i will ask you to do crazy things like to join me as i walk through fire

i want the in-between of the life that was and the life that wasn’t

of course i’ll snap when cornered all animals do and i am a bitch after all

i am most poetic when i am tired and down
