The Warrior-Priest Mindset: A Necessary Dichotomy for God’s Chosen Knights

revenge. They take “an eye for an eye” to a whole other extreme and demand more than equal payback for any wrong done to them. The Lord will require their blood soon enough for the innocent blood they have shed (Genesis 9:5-6) and we know that our King never draws His sword in vain (Romans 13:4). These oppressors of men are hated by our King and their reign of terror finds no limits (Psalm 11:5). There’s No “I” in Team Our Lord tells us that two are better than one and that they will receive a good reward for their joint labor (Ecclesiastes 4:9). We also know that iron sharpens iron and a man sharpens his friend (Proverbs 27:17). We are all members of one body (1 Corinthians 12:20-25) however these dark warriors are an army of one. They are lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to their parents, unthankful, and unholy men of the flesh (2 Timothy 3:24).
