Revenge We are now beginning to understand the Code of Chivalry The Lord has given us for battle and self-defense, a code of ethics if you will. We know that He forbids murder, He allows self-defense, and wants us to protect the weak. He tells Peter to not “live by the sword” or lead a lifestyle of violence.
