I hate how the male gaze is still more powerful than a woman’s self-worth.

I’d say the hardest thing about parenting is sharing yourself. When you’re hurting, having to love another person is tough. Having to hold yourself together for them, and not letting your pain become their problem. That’s the hard stuff.

All kids want is their parents to tell them everything is going to be OK. But when you’re a parent, and you don’t know if everything will be OK, it’s hard to pretend.’

Misogynistic women are worse than any man. Literally fighting against their own kind. It takes a whole other level of arsehole to pull that off.

A dad fulfilling his potential as a parent doesn’t mean he should be branded a hero.
