For many of my generation, myself included, the dream of home ownership remains exactly that. We're forever being told home ownership is not a right and those doing the telling are usually those who hopped on the property ladder when you could buy your first home for less than six figures. They’re missing the point. It has nothing to do with a misguided sense of entitlement, but the need to put down roots.
