productivity is getting the stuff you want to do done in as few steps as possible.
once you have identified something you don’t need to do - get rid of it.
That is £50 an hour. If one of those tasks – say the ironing, takes me an hour, and I can pay someone else to do it for £20 then I make a net gain.
Prioritizing tasks this way allows you to make the conscious decision to deprioritize something. If it isn't critical, urgent or important then by default, it is deprioritized.
Eliminating seems like a final option. But getting projects off your plate will give you space and mental room to bring other things forth and to concentrate on what you do want to do.
Leverage the excitement you feel for the new to do the old.
