You Are a Goddess: Working with the Sacred Feminine to Awaken, Heal and Transform

These are some of the ways of the feminine: a validated emotional nature, a trusted intuitive knowing, a solid wisdom of the heart, listening to the subtle messages of nature and the body, the fierce passion of a spiritual mother protecting her children and her Earth, prizing the health of our relationships and intimate connections, healing touch flowing from our hands, primal sensuality and a nurturing Shakti-power – an innate, effortless ability to be in tune with our cosmic destiny through every breath.

You have a destiny that is developing and unfolding daily. Pay attention to your inner urges and impulses. It is the Great Goddess talking to you. It is all your soul has ever wanted, calling you home.

There is always someone, something or someplace that can benefit from your immense Goddess gifts. Give and you shall receive. Give your soul energy freely and without fear of harmful consequences. It is safe for you to give: through pure giving you connect to pure receiving.

The nature of the true feminine is this: indefinable. She is total light, and total darkness. She is the widest expanse of purity, compassion, unconditional love and acceptance you can ever experience. She is simultaneously the deepest dive into alchemy, mystery, sexual transformation, night magic, creational forces and under-earth powers of truth.

The word transformation can extend to total or radical change, which is called ‘metamorphosis’.

This supreme Goddess will push you beyond any limit that you thought you had, challenge every thought of weakness, victimhood or self-doubt, and ask you to confront all barriers to knowing yourself as a lionhearted feminine warrior of love.

The sages, hermits, poets, scholars and mystical seekers of the world have long venerated Kali as a towering force of spiritual mystery.

Unconditional love means loving people’s spirits, not their ego or personality.

We are all innocent beings of love. This is a sacred truth.

Loving unconditionally doesn’t mean that you condone or tolerate harmful behaviour. It doesn’t mean that you have to continue connecting with people who hurt, or have hurt you. It means that you connect to the truth that everyone is doing the best they can in a...

It means that we practise holding awareness that when we act less than lovingly, we are acting from a painful place of needing to be loved, and seen. As it says in A Course in Miracles, ‘...

Being a compassionate witness to someone is a role that honours and acknowledges their suffering without trying to rescue them from difficult feelings. To witness someone’s pain with compassion means that you are present with their experiences, but don’t attempt to make it good for them, talk them out of their feelings about it, or find a solution to their problems. For the feminine essence, it is very healing for emotions to be seen, heard, accepted and validated. The masculine energy system seeks to eradicate troublesome or messy feelings through solving, rationalizing or compartmentalizing them. Meeting feminine emotions with this approach (despite its well-meaning intentions) can cause a woman to shut down.

For empathic healers, it is easy to end up with a whole host of friends and partners who actually should be your clients.

If you don’t take care of how you give, the standards you keep in relationships, and the boundaries you set with others, you may burn out and be at risk of damaging your sensitive energy system.
