We won’t prove or disprove Marx’s value theory here. The point is that Böhm-Bawerk’s objections come nowhere close to doing so either. But then, I suspect that for many of those who cite Böhm-Bawerk the point is not whether Austrian arguments actually do or don’t demolish Marx, but rather that they sound good. Superficially plausible arguments that appeal to intuition and prejudice are the stock-in-trade of the online Austrian.
