“No fucking way,” Tanner ran beside her. “You can’t carry all that by yourself and there’s no way any of us are going to let you out of our sight. In case you haven’t noticed, someone just took out the motherfucking devil.”
“I get it,” the Devil said. “You’ve always wanted a family. I know why.” “You know nothing.” “Don’t I?” Lucifer cocked a brow. “I know your father had you on drugs at the age of seven. Kept you in a closet when your mother was drunk, and under him on his bed when she wasn’t around. Hit you whenever you cried while he molested you.” Tanner cringed. “Fuck. You.” “I know when you were ten, you watched that bastard get beaten to death by thugs. Right in your front yard. Not even the ice cream truck driver stopped to help him.” The Hound took a few more steps towards the door, his body curling in

“Kalen’s, Tanner’s, Eli’s and Jack’s. The woman has a harem. A Hell Hounds Harem.”

This was a blow to their names, their egos, and their maker. All grudges aside, when it came down to brass tacks, these guys had each other’s backs. It was sometimes hard not to lose sight of that in the midst of chaos. None of them worked particularly well together, but yeah… fuck with one, you fucked with them all. They’d been through too much not to be able to rely

“Darling, don’t kick it. That’s not going to help.” “Thanks, Wolf, for that lovely bit of advice. Especially coming from the Hound who breaks kitchen tables like Bruce Lee on steroids.”
That love. That mad, crazy, undeniable love… that’s what had drawn the Devil to her so long ago. It’s why he made her a Hound. It was why he’d slipped a piece of his soul into her so he could experience life, however lived, through her.
I NEED Lucifer to find love. I wanted him to be with Sara also, but that didn’t happen. So now I need him to find his love.
