I’d like to simply say, gently, you were made for more. You are worth fighting for. Christ thought you were worth dying for. Would you be willing to open your heart to the possibility of moving forward, one day at a time?
My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.
When things fall apart, the broken pieces allow all sorts of things to enter, and one of them is the presence of God. —Shauna Niequist
We become a little less authentic with every experience we bury.
Lord, give me eyes to see what I might miss. Give me ears to hear beyond what someone might be saying to what’s happening in their heart.
Grab hold of every negative thing you’ve ever believed about yourself and replace it with truth.
You don’t have to be perfect, just present.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. (Ps. 139:14 ESV) For nothing will be impossible with God. (Luke 1:37 ESV)
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Tim. 1:7 NKJV).
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Gal. 5:22–23)
Don’t ignore the genesis of a problem, because it will only grow.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jer. 29:11)
Your true identity is a gift from God.
We are so much more than what has happened to
us.
You are not what happened to you. You are a child of God.
