As a physician and researcher, I remember my annoyance at succesful women who imitated male ways of thinking and living. I used to rant at the missed opportunity for them to enrich the profession's understanding with their own complementary approach. And I fekt it was cowardly to imitate the established path to success rather than create our own. Of course some years later i slammed into a glass ceiling i had naively had no inkling about.
