In any given focus city, you know how to get around, know where the best restaurants are, know where to get your dry cleaning done, and know how to get back to the airport without wasting time. You feel at home without having a home there. Then, you simply determine how long you want to spend in each focus city, or group of focus cities, before returning to base. You will never have to deal with the feeling of newness while in your focus city.
