Whilst resurrection obviously belongs to the rebirth archetype, it is striking that Paul virtually eschews the vocabulary of rebirth, even when explaining (Rom 6) the spiritual renewal of believers.306 Rather, Paul insists on speaking of renewal in terms of resurrection.
