I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself. I am an expert and I am a professional. I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy, the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
Speaking of emergencies, do you have adequate provisions in your home and car should you need to leave in a hurry? You might refer to this as a “bug-out bag” or “bolt bag.” Having the tools and equipment needed to survive without food or power at the ready could possibly save your life.
presiding is about leading those you have an obligation and responsibility to lead, including yourself.
The process of going first requires you to actually go first.
A leader’s singular purpose should be to create additional leaders,
We are not victims unless we choose to be. The world is not conspiring against us.
No one is out to get us. This understanding is what gives us the power to do more than we believe we are capable of.
Out of the night that covers me, Black as the pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the
scroll, I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.
Live knowing that, when all seems lost, you always have the ability to find a way or make one.
knowledge is simply having the information, wisdom is the ability to
discern what information is true and, more importantly, how it is applicable in your life.
Aristotle says, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”
Whether you know it or not, you have not achieved any level of success in your life without the help of someone else.
The solution to living with integrity is simple: do what you say you’re going to do; don’t say you’ll do something if you’re not going to do it.
A man of conviction knows exactly who he is and why he’s here, and he’s bold in the way he approaches his life.
Accountability to yourself represents a higher tier of accountability and one that we would all do well to strive for.
“I’m not afraid of anything I’m doing because I’m doing it for the right reasons.”
Defining your purpose can be one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences you’re likely to face on your journey to Sovereignty. It’s not something that happens overnight. It must be fostered and developed over years of the repetitive cycle of reflection, action, and review.
Very simply, you take action. That’s it. There’s no real way to dress it up and make it an easier pill to swallow. You do the thing you want to be doing.
If there’s one foundational skill that unlocks the key to satisfaction, fulfillment, and contentment in your life, it’s discipline.
To achieve lasting, predictable results, day in and day out, a man must exhibit discipline and dedication to the small actions that produce the big results.
Once you understand that you’ll need to engage in consistent action to reach a desired outcome, you’ll need to start identifying hurdles that will come up. And they will. I can’t think of one journey I’ve ever embarked on that went exactly according to plan.
As Seneca says, “The man who has anticipated the coming of troubles takes away their power when they arrive.”
