“Hello, Ms. McNamara.” He turned to Darek. “Detective.”
I have enough of this in real life and I do not want to see it in books. My issue is that "Ms. McNamara" is a Special Agent for the FBI. He knows that. He has been interrogated by her in regards to a criminal investigation. Even tough he knows this he refers to her as Ms., while he address her male companion as Detective. I don't see WHT she has to be degraded as of her title just because she is accompany by a man. This also happens in real life and it is very shameful when people do not want to recognize the goals you have achieve just because you are a woman.
