I want answers! I want nebulous statements that pretend to be answers! I want bad advice from strangers! I have somehow come to believe that Internet searches and excessive information are my best way to survive in life. The results of this method usually show up in sleepless nights, failing health, and headaches. Getting answers from God is a game of patience.
I’m learning to accept this mystery of God. There are many things about God I will come to know or understand, and there is plenty I will never know, never understand, never be able to put words to. I wish I had answers for you. I wish we could play M.A.S.H. or flip over the eight ball and predict the future. One of the limits of humanity is knowing only exactly what we know right now, right where we are. One thing I want my soul to remember and I want your soul to know is that life isn’t always good; humans aren’t always good; but God is good. Always.
