The question of whether women should remove hair, and how much, and from where, is a vexing one. The two of us can’t (and don’t want to) tell you that you must shave your armpits or wax your mustache, but we can’t (and don’t want to) tell you that you must not do it, either. Letting your body hair grow free could feel like the epitome of unruliness, like giving a little up-yours to a society that wants us polished and pristine.
