In the West, there is a tendency to treat any and every subject as central to life. Everything is seen through the same coloured glasses. The West is given to compartmentalization. We view everything from all perspectives, all dimensions. We have looked at life in its entirety. It is, however, true that every part was also looked at for purposes of deeper understanding.
