I won’t ever forget the sight of white supremacists carrying torches through the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia, chanting, “Jews will not replace us!” One yelled, “Dylann Roof was a hero!” about the racist killer who slaughtered nine black churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina. A young woman named Heather Heyer, who was there to protest the white supremacists, was killed when a man plowed his car into a crowd.
