The bravest acts I’ve done as a Christ follower have been facing and addressing sin I’d rather ignore.
our chief concern in every interaction should be to show others what God is like.
God has clearly asked us to be in each other’s pit crews, to cheer each other on while playing a specific role and hoping our little few seconds of hands-on time helped.
To take on other people’s weight robs them of their dignity and creates the victim mentality we can easily perpetuate in well-intentioned yet poorly executed social justice.
in God’s economy, relationship is king.
A prayer that starts with amen lets go. It pivots and feels conviction and makes course corrections. It’s an eager student and doesn’t care who gets credit. Its highest goal is to put God on display.
