“Unshrunk [new] cloth on an old garment” (Matthew 9:16) “New wine into old wineskins” (Mark 2:22)
Jesus said no one patches an old garment w/ a new piece of cloth or puts new wine in an old skin, b/c the old isn't flexible enough to be compatible w/ the new.
