consistency requires habit change. Left to our own devices, most of us are inclined to give ourselves too much latitude. We need to build the habit of taking action on a regular basis. It doesn’t come naturally to us. The second challenge is that skipping a day or two can have a snowball effect. Once you skip a day, it becomes easier to skip forthcoming days.
tools like Todoist allow you to integrate your to-do lists with your calendar.
think of your day as a series of 30-minute time chunks. An hour-long meeting will require two chunks. A two-hour conference call will require four chunks. These periods should be blocked off on your calendar.
Your to-do list is an inventory of what you hope to accomplish during the course of a given day. Your calendar determines whether it’s possible.
your to-do list system should complement your workflow. It should suit your method of getting things done.
