He could transform into four arctic creatures at will—polar bear, snowy owl, arctic fox, and reindeer.
He bellowed in alarm and tried to grab the harness with his teeth to hold himself to the sleigh but his jaws snapped on air and he was falling. Down, down, down, through frigid air that took his breath away. Then he was being slapped rapidly by trees, before he hit the ground. His whole body cracked against the earth, and his brain rattled in his skull. He remembered nothing else.
“Great, I’m talking to myself. Out loud. And now I’m pointing out the obvious. I need to get a boyfriend. Or maybe a dog.”
The reindeer-man rolled onto his back, and her hands skimmed over the taut flesh of his abs that were chiseled in a way that made every feminine urge inside her go woohoo.
“I’m acting like an idiot. I know I just met you, but I don’t want you to go.”
And you shouldn’t be embarrassed by your feelings because I feel the same way. You’re my mate and that’s a powerful, instant connection.”
“Unless you want me to go? I can woo you, if you’d like. I’ve never done it before, but I could figure it out.” He looked toward the window. “I could live in the woods and woo you.”
The wooing thing? What does it involve?” Her blush deepened, staining her cheeks a lovely color. “I would visit you and bring you gifts. I would show you that I can be a good mate for you.”
