To qualify as an early win, the result must be something that would not have been accomplished without you taking the leadership role. If it would have been accomplished without you in the role, it is not significant enough to be considered an early win. The early win should signify to the team and the other stakeholders that something has changed for the better. However, it must be seen and felt as the team's win and not your personal win alone.
