Each kiss is thoughtful—intense but thoughtful—and it’s like I’m his favorite dessert that he’s taking small, careful nibbles of because he wants to prolong his enjoyment of it.

“Oh, I’m certain I can make everything fit.”

That when I’m with him, I no longer fear the universe. I no longer fear the future and what it may hold. That we understand each other, better than anyone else might. That we fit together.

“I’ve been home since the moment I met you.”
