It’s crazy how something cataclysmic can make you physically feel like the world has stopped moving, but the reality is that it’s only you who stopped.
“I’m so happy you’re here, Josefine.”
I don’t know who gave up on her, but I know I won’t.
I’m here for you. I see you. You’re not alone. I’m so happy you’re here, Jos!
“You know, I see you. You can act like whatever you feel doesn’t matter, but it does.”
“You matter, Daniel.”
A haunted look takes over his eyes before they get washed away with sadness. It lingers like it’s letting itself be seen. Like it’s asking for help and doesn’t know how.
“My heart begs for you.”
It hurts and that’ll probably never go away, but you can share your pain with me.
“I don’t know what I’m doing.” I choke on a sob, the void in my chest burns. I don’t understand why when there’s nothing there.
There is so much effort put into existing. What the fuck even is the point? Why do I keep trying?
I don’t want to die, but I don’t want to be sad.
“Being with you has made me the happiest and most peaceful person I’ve ever been in my life. Being with you felt like getting a restart in life. Being with you made me feel like me again.”
“You know, you are loving. Don’t ever feel like you’re not. I don’t need you to be loud about loving me or do big gestures to show me that you do. I know that you do, in the way you hold me, how you see me, how you let me in, how you accept me for me. You are loving, Josefine, and I’m privileged to be the one you choose to love.”
You make the world brighter and better! I’m so happy you’re here! With love, Jos<3
