Because He ascended, all you need, to know Him intimately, is to invite Him into your life. “But if I go I will send the Counselor to you.” Paul declared, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”2 As a child of God you have Him living in you, allowing you opportunity to commune with Him moment by moment, day after day. If your fellowship with Him is not what it ought to be, it is because you have moved away from Him, not the opposite. He took up residence in you as the down payment of your eternal inheritance when you were born again. Happily, His Ascension made this possible.
