For those who are still trying to find their place in this world, it’s okay. Take your time. It will be worth the wait.
“You claim to hate the dark, yet the light is leaving you blind.”
“If this is my destruction, then I’ll make sure the world burns with me.”
“You can’t call bullshit on fate, Luka.” “I just did,” he answered, and before he could second guess the action, he closed the space between their mouths.
“They made me into this. They tried to make me small. Too wild. Too impulsive. And now when I join them? Become a monster? Be one of them?” Her gaze snapped back to him. “I am exactly what you wanted me to be,” she said, a maniacal note to her voice. “Someone they fear as much as you.”
“But wishes and hope are for the innocent and the heroes, not the monsters and the villains, so I no longer bother with either.”
She needed no one. Kindness was never free. There was always a cost. And she was done accumulating debts.
“Many are on the receiving end of injustice every single day. A choice was taken from you. It’s not right, and it’s not fair. But you get to decide how to move forward. That choice is still yours. You get to decide how it shapes you. You will not be the same on the other side of this,” Cienna said. “But you get a choice on who that person will be. Your path is not yet decided. Fate waits to make her final choice for you. Choose wisely.”
Too bad his flower was more poison than beauty.
“I do not wish for a normal love,” she said. “And I choose you too. I choose us, even if our days are spent without light.”
“But it isn’t home unless you are there with us.”
“But you? You are my light.”
Maybe the villain had fallen in love with the monster in the end.
“Until it comes to pass, the future can always change,”
“Tessalyn Ausra, I would sacrifice all the realms and all the stars for you. You are perfectly wild. Perfectly untamed. You were not made to be caged, nor were you made to be a sacrifice for a realm that does not deserve such a gift. You were made to live in the light. Go live, little storm.”
