He was well beyond six feet, with an onyx complexion, caramel and green swirled eyes, full lips, long lashes, low-cut fade, and a smile that could light up a pitch-black room.
Unique was a universal handsome, and I realized it ran in the family when I saw his siblings at a yacht party one afternoon.
“Too nice? Nigga, you better be glad it’s security here or I would whup your soft ass! What kind of man lets another man make him jump off a boat, you bitch!
“That’s the problem with black men; y’all think a working dick and a paycheck means you’re a good man. Good day, negro.”
“You been dodging that love shit for a minute, but from the sound of shit, seems like the target might’ve hit yo’ ass,” he said, not even realizing just how fucking true that shit was. “So you saying I’m like, love’s most wanted or some shit?” “I like that.” He nodded. “That’s exactly it.”
“Childish legs?” I giggled, folding my arms and leaning in the doorway as Unique piled one box on top of another and lifted both. Seeing his muscles flex a bit as he started to carry them out made my bud thump a little.
“You notice that nigga never wears shorts? Nigga’s legs is small as hell and got the nerve to have a thigh tatt like a baddie.” I fell out as Unique continued working. “His character had to rock shorts once, and we clowned that nigga so bad he fought to wear pants in the scene.”
“I can’t ask for help. I won’t ask for help. Had I not gotten help from a nigga in the past, I would be fine right now.” “Too bad, then, ’cause I’m gon’ help you in any way you need.”
“I’m not yours, just your wife and only by law.” “By law takes precedence over every-fucking-thing, love.” His eyes drank me in and it rendered me speechless for a moment. “Tell me you gon’ take my help though. I need us to be even and shit.”
He only saw her, and that was what I wanted. It seemed like niggas like that were a dime a dozen, however.
“To keep it real, I don’t even fucking know, but I do. You just seem like you don’ had it hard for a long time, and a nigga wanna provide you with some relief.”
“No offense, but you took shit from a boy. Men don’t take shit back.”
“I don’t. Long as you my wife as declared by the courts, I’m liable to make sure you good. Now go handle ya business while I get all this shit situated for you.”
That’s kind of what love is, Unique. No one is perfect, but you have to find the one whose flaws or shortcomings are acceptable for you.”
Even if you’d let me, I don’t wanna just fuck you. I want some different shit. Whether it ends with us being married by the heart as well or staying close friends, I just wanna be cool. Don’t ever think I’m
doing some shit just to fuck. This ain’t that with you, love.”
“I mean, what is the point in allowing a man to have you and another woman at the same time if you still have to go out of your way to stop him from skirt chasing?” I cocked my head after locking up my makeup case.
“The fact remains that I wouldn’t be, and that isn’t my vibe. I don’t share dick. I don’t share quality time. I just don’t share when it comes to my man. I especially don’t share if he got me feeling like you claim you would. I’m too needy, clingy, and all of that.” She sighed again. “It’s also a respect thing and a maturity thing for me too. The man I am devoted to needs to be devoted to just me. That takes a lot of maturity, patience, sexual discipline, and having the upmost respect for the woman you love or wanna be with.”
Kabrina talking was like a soft lullaby or white noise for a nigga in the way it relaxed me. I could listen to her all fucking day and actually listen too.
“You got me right where you want a nigga, KK.” His voice took on a serious tone.
By saying that, this shit I was starting up with Kabrina was bittersweet. But I’d rather take a risk and have her than let a fear keep me from a good woman. Fears were for bitch ass niggas anyway.
I don’t need years or even months to know what’s for me, as crazy as the shit sounds. My stepfather used to tell me that shit, and I never believed it, but it’s true. I knew the first time we kicked it you weren’t the one, and I knew the first time I kicked it with her she was.”
“One minute I was living life with two women, and the next, I was consumed by thoughts of you. I kept thinking the shit would pass, but it only intensified as the days went on, almost like a fucking obsession.
No one had ever made me feel important or like a priority until him, even when I didn’t want him making me one. It was unexplainable.
but God got a way of doing shit, and He did it. It just so happens that I accidentally married the woman I wanna be with. The first woman to make me think about shit like having kids, being a father and a husband. The first woman to be everything a nigga wants in one.”
Sometimes you can be the best fucking person in the world, but if it’s for the wrong muthafucka, it ain’t gon’ ever be right.”
“I’m good. I’m with who I want.” She gripped my hand tightly. “And I loved you when I didn’t know any better. But I have better, so I could never downgrade.” She shrugged. “Sorry.”
so I thought because God had other plans and that was checking me off the love’s most wanted list.
“Well, sweetheart, the difference between Aurora and me is that she was his fuck buddy who let him play games with her. I’m his wife, and he has no room to play not one game with me. “You playground bitches need to get some backbone and stop letting these niggas treat you any kind of way. You also need to realize when a man doesn’t want you like that. If you were the one for him there would’ve been no Aurora and there would’ve been no me.
I’d never met a man like him that made me feel safe physically but emotionally as well. I never questioned if I could express a concern or anything because I knew my man would always try to see it my way and not try to argue me off of my viewpoint. There was a comfort in that I didn’t know I needed. I could always be myself with him. A man that valued not just you, but your thoughts and opinions was top-tier. And I knew I was never letting him go. So maybe I would be creeping into attics and playing reindeer games if I needed to keep him.
“Thank you, baby.” I pressed my lips to his slowly. “I promise once I’m rich, I will buy you something real pricey.” “Nah.” He brought me in closer to him as we relaxed on the big couch. “I got some priceless shit already, love. All I’m doing is nurturing it.”
They always said that some kids grow up to be identical versions of their parental figures and other kids make a point to grow up to be the opposite. I could definitely say I was the latter.
My wife can say whatever the fuck she feel she want to, and I’m gon’ have her back on that shit. Secondly, if you don’t wanna come up missing, stop throwing them tired walls my way, love. I ain’t fucking around.”
I was raised to love, respect, and protect black women, but I was also raised to snatch the life up out a muthafucka threatening my family or my livelihood or both. I was a cool, funny muthafucka until you pushed me, and that was something she was about to learn.
“But um, ain’t really enough words to explain how I feel about you. Every day I find a new reason why I love you, real shit. Soon as I met you I think I started saving everything up for you: my heart, my time, my loyalty, my dedication, my last name. I don’t think I ever wanted you as a girlfriend. I always wanted to make you my wife. My only regret was not getting in yo’ business earlier and finding out I could’ve been had you. But God makes shit happen a certain way for a reason, love, and a nigga is just beyond blessed and grateful that He found me worthy enough to exist in the same

“I couldn’t imagine there being a day, an hour, a minute, or even a second where I didn’t love you or you didn’t occupy my love, my heart, my future, and I realize it’s because it was always meant to be yours. And there’ll never be a time where I won’t want you, love you, admire you, ride out ’bout you. There’ll never be a time where a nigga can say Asif St. Thomas don’t love the fuck out of Anastazia St. Thomas. There’ll never be a time when a muthafucka can even question it or tell you different.
“When I told you I’d go to war over you, I meant that shit. When I said I would do whatever for you, I meant it. You tell me you want Mars so you can start ya own fucking plane...

“Never met a woman that was so selfless, and just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. And we all know you a fucking sight to see, girl.” She blushed and sniffled as he smirked. “What you did to protect yo’ baby girl, my baby girl, my princess, and the people you love is some admirable shit but you’ll never have to lift a finger to protect again. I promise to protect you with my life, love—protect this uni...

I loved the way Unique ate pussy, like he had a passion for it, studied it, and made sure to master the shit.
“I don’t wait for shit to eventually happen. I make shit happen if it don’t naturally happen when I want it to. I gave that nigga chance after chance to quit playing with me, and he decided to do worse and play with you. So since he think shit is a game, I’m gon’ show that nigga who the MVP is.”
“You always make me feel like everything will be okay. The world could be ending, but you will say just what I need to hear,” I whispered before looking up at his face. “The fact that you got that much faith in yo’ man makes me wanna make shit right, always.” He pecked me. “Bashar booked a cabin for everybody, and I think that’ll be good to get ya mind off shit.”
All day, I’d been trying to listen closely to the ladies’ voices so I could know who was getting smashed to smithereens above us last night. I guess I would just have to see who went to that particular room.
“You hit this one and you gon’ be a muthafuckin’ hashtag by the end of the week, love. Don’t play with me when it come to mine,”
With Asif it was pure sexual tension and yearning but with Unique it was love. One had my actual heart and the other had given my pussy a heartbeat.
I knew the dick was good and even better, there were no stories about in the streets about it. Nothing better than a nigga who didn’t let everybody ride his ride, especially when he had the ability to.
