I’ve often wondered how many worst days of my life I’m going to have to live through. Every time I’m sure that day has happened, the universe says “Hold my beer,” and tears another piece of my soul—and my sanity—away.
Shutting down my emotions and never letting anyone see what’s truly in my heart and mind is the only way I’ll survive in a world I never asked to be part of.
I need to feel something to remind me I’m still alive, even if I spend my days wishing I wasn’t.
“That’s what happens when something is mine.” I lean in closer, stopping when our faces are only inches apart. “I didn’t choose this, and I don’t want you here, but you are. That means you’re mine, and I always defend what’s mine.”
Killian’s eyes are the most unusual shade of brown I’ve ever seen. They can shift from nearly black to almost amber, depending on his mood, and the tiny flecks of gold in them make his stare as magnetic as it is terrifying.
“Imagine if people knew what a little slut you are?” There’s something different about his voice. There’s heat in it, an almost sultry undertone that’s way hotter than it has any business being. “What do you think they’d say if they knew you didn’t just let your stepbrother get you off while choking you out, but you fucking loved it?”
“Come on, Fefe.” He spreads his legs wide, his stance powerful and every bit as cocky as he is as he looms over me. “Open that pretty mouth for me.” He slaps his dick against my lips hard enough to sting, and I bite back a groan as he does it again. “Or I can make you.” He scrapes his teeth over his bottom lip and starts stroking again, moving slower than before. “What do you say, little brother? You gonna be a good boy, or are you going to learn that bad boys get punished?”
“I should make you finish me,” he says. “Use you like the slut you are.” He tightens his grip on my hair and gives it a little tug. “What do you think of that idea, little brother?”
“There you go, kitten. Show big brother exactly what you want,” he says, his lips still next to my ear. “I hate you,” I grumble, letting my eyelids slip closed as another shiver of arousal rips through me. “No, you don’t.” He nips at my ear again. “You hate that you want me.”
“Don’t wash it off,” he orders, his voice a low growl. “I want you to walk around for the rest of the day with my load on you.” He lifts his eyes and meets my gaze again. “That way you remember exactly who this ass belongs to.”
How exactly does one ask their stepbrother if they regret fucking your mouth while their cheating girlfriend was freaking out in your doorway?
It’s weird to see Jace be so sweet and tender with him. Only kids and animals get to see this side of him, and Jace’s calm helps both me and Felix relax.
I pull back, but before I can say anything, Felix surges forward and presses his mouth against mine. His kiss is hard and hot, his tongue insistent as he traces it over my lips, encouraging me to open for him.
I have no idea how we got here, but now that I’ve had a taste of Felix, I know one thing for sure. There’s no way in hell I’m ever letting him go.
Tell me I don’t care about you and I’ll abandon you like everyone else.” I take a step closer to him. “Tell me I don’t love you.”
“I love you,” he whispers. “You’re the only person I’ve ever loved.” I press a kiss against his hair. “You’re the only person I’ve ever loved too.”
