This reminds me so much of the parable of the Good Samaritan. It’s not so much focusing on the man’s goodness as it is this critical fact: As we travel through life, we often encounter those who have been left by the side of the road—wounded, and bleeding, and left to die. Do we stop to administer to their needs or do we walk on the other side (because we don’t want to get involved)?
