He tripped up a little on the last word, but it didn’t matter since I hadn’t understood anything that had come out of his mouth.

They always had laws against things that really needed to be done.

“People say teenagers think they’re immortal, and I agree with that. But I think there’s a difference between thinking you’re immortal and knowing you can survive.
