“Please leave me alone,”
“You know I could never leave you alone, siren.”
I don’t care what it is, I throw myself into him, wrapping my arms around him and swearing that I’ll never let him go.
“Is it you?” I sob. “Are you really here?” “I’m here, siren. I’ll always be here.”
“I begged. I told him I had a girl I needed to be with, needed to protect. When I was fading, I told him I’d do anything. He took me up on it. Now, I officially owe him one.”
“I don’t give a flying fuck what it takes, I’m killing him. I’m killing all of them. They almost took me away from my siren. They all have to burn.”
Ronan speaks. “Agreed.”
“Why is mine different?”
“Because you’re my niece and I love you more,”
“Keep my girl safe.” “On my life,” Asher swears. “And mine,” Liam adds on. “And mine,” Vincent says. “Mine,” Wesley agrees. Ronan is the last to speak, all eyes on him as he gives a strong nod. “Mine.”
“The Brethren must fall. The Elders must be eliminated.”
“Meaning we are going to kill them all, tonight,” Vincent says sharply.
“Well, despite your best efforts to kill me, I prevailed. I’m afraid the same won’t be able to be said for you.”
“I can’t believe it. You’re back. Baby, I—” “I’d appreciate it if you would no longer address my wife,”
“I fell in love, married and had a baby with one. You’ve met my daughter, your daughter-in-law.”
“I know you had your assumptions, Christopher, but let the record show. Yes, I am with all of them. I’m married to Asher, and dating Ronan, Liam, Vincent, and Wesley.”
“The foundation you were all built on. The man who led the cause to eradicate witches, not just during the trials, but after, as well? The one responsible for creating the Brethren was in love with a witch.”
“In the end, he seems to have betrayed her, turned his back on the one he loved out of pressure to become some great leader. Kind of like you did to my mother,”
“It’s okay, though. Everything always comes full circle.”
“Thank you for coming on this blessed day to join the beautiful union of these six souls for all eternity.”
