"And what is that?" I ask through my teeth. A ghost of a smile tugs at his lips. "Catalina isn't the main character, Brad. You are."

The doctor sighs, giving me a pleading glance for intervention. "Can you calm him down so I can get a better look at him?" "You think I know how to do that?" I challenge. "Ain't nobody calming me down!"
