Abby made a face at the closed door. “Coward!” she called after him. When she didn’t receive a response, she assumed that would be the end of it and finished stripping off her clothes. But he startled her by throwing the door open so hard it banged against the inside wall. “What did you call me?” he demanded. She swallowed hard. “A c-coward.”
“Then take me as you want me. I would rather that, rather you approach me with honest emotion than constant denial.”
