I will see you again. I was simply offering you the courtesy of choosing the time and place …
The more I’m not supposed to have something, the more I want it.
They hate when you disagree with them, especially when you’re right. They hate when you don’t fawn over them. And most of all, they hate when you’re different than the picture of you they created in their mind.
They say I’m everything they ever wanted—then they want to change everything about me.
I’ve never been fooled by a woman—Sabrina Gallo has done it to me three times in one night. I don’t know whether to congratulate her or tie her up and throw her in my trunk.
The. Fucking. Audacity.
“Who am I partying with? This can’t be the girl who just stole my bike.” Sabrina shrugs. “Why be one thing when you can be everything?”
“All I want to do is give you what you want.” She looks up at me, our faces inches apart. “I want it all.” My arm tightens around her. “Go and get it then.”
Everything about her is hot as hell, and that’s when she’s not even trying.
“You taste like a slut.”
This is no angel fallen from heaven; the devil made Sabrina, and he knew what he was doing.
I WANT to mark her. I want to leave a bruise that lasts for a month.
“We’re going to be something. I can promise you that.”
“If he took five minutes to look closer, he’d have told me that you’re brilliant and bold, and that you were made for me in every possible way.”
“You won’t like everything about me,” she warns.
“Yes, I will. I want all of you Sabrina—every single fucking thing.”
“So?” she says. “What do you think?” “I think I always want you on my team.”
This is right, I’m supposed to be with you. I don’t care about anything else. I don’t care what I believed before I met you, or what I planned. You smashed what I was and you made me something new.
“I’m never letting you walk away from me again.”
“You are the gift, Sabrina. You’re what I want.”
“You’re not invincible, either.” I kiss her softly on the mouth. “Yes I am. As long as I have you.”
You’re the other half of me. I couldn’t leave you any more than I could cut myself in two.”
I don’t have expectations for you—it’s the surprises I love. You always surpass what I could imagine.”
“I’m never afraid when I’m with you.”
“You were right,” she whispers. “This is better. This is the best.”
