PSALM 8 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your q name in all the earth! You have set your r glory above the heavens. 2 s Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established t strength because of your foes, to still u the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I v look at your heavens, the work of your w fingers, the moon and the stars, x which you have set in place, 4 y what is man that you are z mindful of him, and a the son of man that you b care for him?

Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for j so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so n that [2] they may see your good works and o give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Love your enemies and j pray for those who persecute you, 45 k so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and
sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
