How is the movie compared to the novel? Just watched its movie.

Liked them both. They are both relatively close. The director took a few liberties and simplified the setting from LA+Phoenix and Tucson to mostly just LA.

Style-wise, I personally feel they compliment the other really well, and the vibes of the book are definitely in the movie and vice-versa; I don't think a better job could've been done in bringing it …
