“For what it’s worth, you’re a good daddy,” I say, my eyes widening and flying over to Finn when I realize what I just said. His lips are parted as he watches me with furrowed brows. “Oh my fuck. Dad!” I sputter. “I meant to say you’re a good dad.” I can feel how red my face is, and I’m waiting on bated breath for him to react, but what he does say takes me all the way by surprise.
