How fucking he date try to talk to me after fucking my friend. Well, ex-friend. He knew how much both Tasha and Ella hurt me, and he decided to add to the hurt. It was bad enough that I had to deal with Ella being part of my family, but then to hear that Tasha fucked my husband and was pregnant by him pushed me over the edge.
“Bro’, we getting all the bitches when you get up off house arrest,” Jerome joked, and I started to laugh. “You getting all the bitches… I’m not ready for that… feel me?” “Yeah, I know. When you are ready… we collecting draws like Thanos did those stones,” Jerome broke out into laughter.
“He won’t be walking around for much longer,” I snarled. “Look, Jai, I got your follow up. I cared about Joie, too, so whatever you need I got you.” Jerome replied. “Bet.”
“Who the fuck was on the phone? I don’t go through your phone… but I will.” He headed into the bedroom, and I panicked. “Oh, my. The baby,” I kneeled over, holding my stomach while feeling guilty for using our child as an excuse. Capone stopped in his tracks and rushed over toward me. “What’s the matter, Baby? You need to go to the hospital?” “No, I just had a little pain in my back.” “Why you holding your stomach?” I couldn’t pull shit over on this man of mine. “I don’t know, Winnie. I got fucking scared,” I snapped, removing myself from him. I was all over the place and I’m sure I probably

“Capri!” I jumped out the car and hugged her, giving her a look over as she laughed. “Are you alright? You didn’t have anybody try to be your girlfriend?”
he held the gun out the window, while trying to drive. I took a deep breath, rolling the window down and remembering what Big Mike told me. When it comes to your life and a nigga that’s trying to take it, you gonna bang yo shit every time.
Capri was running on adrenaline so long that when she finally came down, her arm was in so much pain. I don’t even shoot a Desert Eagle with one hand, and the fact that she did it and had the strength to drive back to the house spoke volumes. I always underestimated my sister, and she proved that she could hold her own, and she protected my baby for me.
Ella was still on my shit list with the shit that she pulled. “Ew, you could have answered the phone a bit happier. What’s wrong… your girlfriend not making you happy anymore.” She snickered, almost happy that I might be unhappy with Erin. “I know she’s not making you happy. Probably pisses you off that she gets to ride this dick whenever she wants, and you can’t… riding it so much is what got her carrying my seed now.” Erin shoved me with a shock expression on her face. I was tired of fucking being the bigger person when it came to Ella and her petty ass comments. She knew she was salty about

Erin squeezed my hand as we both looked at her. She sat the files down and looked across the desk at us. “We’ve done all the testing along with the new sonogram scans. Your baby has Down syndrome. We’ve made sure to run everything twice and even looking at the scans from your specialist, we can confirm she has Down syndrome.” “She?” Erin whispered. The doctor looked like she wanted to whisper fuck because she had told us what the gender was. Capri wanted to throw Erin a gender reveal, and now that was ruined.
“Marry me, Erin.” “You already asked me that.” She stared confused, wiping her face. Her eyes were puffy from crying. “Nah. I mean… I wanna be married now. I don’t need to wait a year. I don’t want to wait a year… I wanna bring our baby into the world as husband and wife.” I could see her eyeing something behind me, and I touched my gun. When she noticed I touched my gun, she giggled. “I was looking at the McDonald’s… I don’t need to wait a year either. Are you sure? There’s a lot of paperwork you need to make sure you work out before we can get married.” “What paperwork?” “Capone… your home,

I would risk it all for that woman, and she didn’t even know it. While she was laid up in our big ass home, eating her newest craving, I was parked across the street from Blaze’s crib as I watched him drunkenly fumble with his keys, while he was with a shorty.
You didn’t get to shoot at my people and then lived to speak about it the next day. While the police didn’t know who was behind it, and weren’t no closer to finding out, the hood was humming with who was actually behind it. Trilla’s people couldn’t hold fucking water. They were running their mouths about what happened and walking around with their chest puffed up. Some of them were. I would never tell her, but Erin had killed the nigga that she shot. She wasn’t even aiming and had hit him in the head three times. The little nigga was only seventeen. That shit would tear her heart out, so I

“I’m about to fucking open the door for him myself,” Naheim groaned, as he continued to lean back.
The fuck were you thinking.” Naheim sighed. “I wasn’t thinking. Was too busy being selfish and got used to her stroking my weak ass ego,” he admitted. Capri was done with Naheim, and he would have to bring Jesus down here himself for her to even consider trying to be with him. If he thought she would be able to forgive him, he had to be using some of our product, and for that I might actually put a bullet in his damn chest. “She done with you. I hope you don’t think a vacation or bag gonna change her mind. But there’s good news in all of this.” He was leaned back, staring forward. “I know.

Naheim came out the back and gave me the signal that nobody else was in the crib. Blaze was unbuckling his pants and playing with his dick, and I was pissed. Naheim sucked his teeth and looked at me. “Crazy way to go out.” He chuckled to himself.
“Yeah, well, you can talk to Trilla when I send his ass to hell next.” “Timmy is alive!” he blurted, holding his chest.
I wasn’t a fool, and I damn sure wasn’t blind. When I watched Capri and Kincaid while the doctor worked on both of them, I could tell this was more than just fucking around. Capri had feelings for his ass, and he had the same feelings for her. “You care about her?” “With everything inside of me, Capo. No disrespect, but I love your sister.” He turned, standing tall and staring me down in the eyes. This nigga had his nose broke behind messing with Capri, and here he was standing here telling me that he was in love with her. “I’m too old for this shit. Fix this weird fucking love triangle shit

“Kill all that shit between the two of you. Nah, you can go… Capo called to let me know you’re good to dip out. Kincaid, keep your shit straight,” Big Mike scolded the both of us like we were children. “His baby mama out there wilding and he mad at me because I feel like she should be dead,” Kincaid muttered. “Kincaid, stop playing like I won’t tap your fucking jaw,” I rushed over toward him, and he remained seated. “Tap it then,” he encouraged, touching the side of his face. Big Mike shoved me over toward the door. “Go on with all that shit. I ain’t a fucking Kindergarten teacher, and I’m not

“Fight for what? There’s nothing worth fighting for anymore. You destroyed this… us. I can’t even love you right because I’m fucking embarrassed. This entire time I thought I was better than them, and they were laughing in my face because they knew Tasha was screwing you.”
Ever since Capri was released on bail, the detectives had come by to talk to me about the case. I wasn’t thinking when I gave them my address and number to keep me updated on everything going on with the case. I wanted Capri’s ass to pay for her actions. She walked around spoiled because she never had to be held accountable.
Timmy looked from the TV screen to my stomach, then back to the screen with disgust. “The fuck was that look about?” “You think having another baby is the answer to the problem? Kayla is in Maryland because you can’t even take care of her right now. What’s gonna happen with that baby?”
Getting pregnant wasn’t the plan at all, and I was just as surprised when I found out. I found out a month before Timmy decided to take matters into his own hands and act like he was James St. Patrick.
My heart fluttered when Naheim jumped out of his car and strolled over toward the restaurant. I picked a restaurant that was in Jersey and a little further away. It was by the water, and I had looked over the menu before arriving. I just hoped that he wasn’t too pissed that he decided not to pay for the bill. Maybe I would pretend that I was offended and then storm out, so I wasn’t stuck with the bill. The hostess showed him over toward our table and I pretended to have an attitude.
“What the fuck do you want, Tasha?” “All I want is for you to be a father to your baby.” He chuckled. “I’m not being a father to a child that I don’t know is mine. You got more mileage on that pussy than a 1988 Buick, and you want me to take your word for it.”
“I don’t think you can lay out on the beach tomorrow, Gorgeous?” “Why? Do we have plans?” she got super excited. “Are we going to see the elephants again.” I hated to break her heart, but we weren’t going to see the elephants again. “Nah. I made plans for us to go swimming with the dolphins.” “Capone Winston Delgato, don’t play with me. I’ve explained to nearly everybody how dangerous those things are.” I couldn’t help but to laugh because she was about to go on her rant again.
“Daddy isn’t here to walk you down the aisle. I don’t remember much about him, E, but I know that he would have been here to walk you down this aisle if he could. I want to step in his place and walk you down the aisle and give you away.” The sob that left my mouth was concerning as I stood there with my face in my hands. Neither of my parents were here to witness me marry the man of my dreams. Jaiden pulled me into his arms and hugged me tightly.
Everyone smiled at us as we walked by them. We made it midway down the aisle when Capone had CJ’s hand and walked up the aisle to meet us the other half. “Baby, what are you doing?” My voice shook as I stood close to him, inhaling his favorite scent. The woodsy scent sent shivers down my entire body. “You’ve walked this journey with just the two of you alone… I’m,” he cleared his throat and looked down at CJ, “We’re not letting you walk alone again… I got ya’ll.” CJ put his little hand into mine, and we walked down the aisle together. I could have sworn I saw Jaiden’s eyes become glossy. He

“Pony, I want you to say hi to Mommy’s boyfriend... okay?” “You have a boyfriend, Mommy.” “I do. He can’t wait to meet you too. We’re gonna go on a little vacation together,” I promised him. “What’s up, CJ?” “Ain’t nothing but the sky,” he replied. Dante looked at me weird. “It’s something he and his father says.”
One of my professors in law school had taught me a valuable lesson in respecting other people’s time, and it was something I never forgot. I remember running late because I wanted coffee, and decided to grab some knowing that my class was about to start. I walked into that class with my coffee and purse on my arm and was escorted right on out in front of everyone. I was so humiliated that I went to see the professor after class to tell him how I felt. It was then that he schooled me on his time, and how if he made time to be there prompt and ready to teach, that I needed to assure that I did

“Hey… are you riding on the dirt bike with Kincaid to call it?” I saw how Kincaid was on that damn bike and I would be damned if I got on the back of it. He never wore a helmet and I didn’t want my damn back touching the street while he stood on the seat. I already knew he was going to show out because of the sneakers he wore. They were beat and flat as hell like he had been moon walking at ninety miles per hour. “Hell no,” I laughed.
It was a bonus that he happened to be picking up Capone’s sister, and wifey was there too. I couldn’t have planned this more perfectly. Not only was I going to take out three of his people, his sister and wifey was going to be two of them. I knew Kincaid wasn’t going down without a fight, but I didn’t expect his sister. When they came back and told me how she was driving and how she killed one of my men, I thought they were using our supply. Ain’t no way, some chick that Capone kept away from this life knew how to use a gun. Then his wifey, she killed my cousin’s son. Paying for a funeral and

“I sit up at night on my balcony and think of all the times you warned me. E, you used to drill that shit in my head that he was sneaky, and you didn’t trust him. If I had listened, then none of this would have happened. Joie would have been here, my baby would have been alive, and I wouldn’t be working ten times harder to play ball, something that has always been so easy for me. This is something that I know that I have to do.” She walked over toward him, sitting on the edge of the coffee table in front of him. “Jaiden, once you do this… there’s no going back.” He leaned forward. “I know, and

Kincaid handed me the last one and I looked at homie in the face. “Tell that nigga that I’m his fucking daddy…. I run shit. He doesn’t fucking eat unless I say he do.” I launched the cocktail into the back of the truck. “Get the fuck out of here.” I shoved his ass away from me.
Your father was your first love, so I was excited to witness her fall in love with her father. Capone was already the perfect father, so I knew he would take on the role as girl dad perfectly. It made me a little sad that he wasn’t able to be a girl dad to Naomi because she passed away. I often felt guilty for carrying his daughter.
A real man isn’t going to have you out here looking crazy as hell while you’re claiming him.
“You can call me Pony like my mommy does,” he stared up at me with his beautiful brown eyes.
“Oh, baby, that is a special nickname that your mommy has given you. I think we should keep it special by letting it be between the two of you… okay?” He nodded his head. “Can we make our own nickname? You are my second mommy, right?” I wasn’t just Capone’s girlfriend anymore; I was his wife so that made me CJ’s bonus mom.
“Okay… what do you think I should call you?” “Pooh.” He smiled. “Well, then I guess I should start calling you Pooh.” I pinched his cheeks, and kissed them. “Do you want to help me pick some more stuff out for your sister?”
“Do you know what a disability is?” CJ nodded his head. “Mommy says Asher is special.” My heart dropped when he said that. If Ella was teaching her son to call disabled people special, I was going to have a problem. “She says God sends certain people special babies to love on them. He says the mommy and daddies are God’s angels that watch over his special creation.”
“You have to take care of yourself, baby. I need you to also tell me when you’re in pain.” “I could handle it.” “No, you cannot handle it. I am your wife now, and you need to stop being so damn stubborn. Let me take care of you, Capone.”
“Stop fucking hollering at me when it comes to Ella. I let her take him because she was going to cause problems if I didn’t. Don’t yell at me when it comes to her, Capone, and I’m not playing.” That other side of me came out, as I pointed my finger in his face. I refused to be yelled at for the actions of another woman. “I apologize, Gorgeous.” “Stop playing with me, Capone.”
“Any real man would never put his hands on you, or make you think that you’re not enough. It may hurt now, but you’re better off without him in the long run.” We all snapped our necks toward Big Mike. “Thank you,” Ryai smiled as she looked over at him.
“You need to make sure that he’s taking his medication. That’s the least that you could do since you living in his house and now, you’re his wife.” “Capone is a grown ass man the last time I checked. He’s more than capable of taking care of himself and taking his medication. As his wife, I will do my part to make sure he’s taken care of. However, don’t sit in my face and tell me what I needed to do.” It was my turn to cross my arms and look her up and down.
“Bet… kick this bitch down,” he said to someone, and I moved away from the door. The door shook as the person kicked it, weakening the hinges. They kicked two more times before my fucking door flew open and Capone was standing there breathing hard with Kincaid behind him.
“I would rather pluck every piece of my booty hair one by one, and wipe with a Clorox wipe before I ever give you fucking credit. I would give you credit if you didn’t fucking cheat in the first place. What did you have to give her, Naheim? You’re dodging that question.”
“Erin, stop fucking running away. This is what marriage is. It’s not fucking pretty… you can’t keep running whenever shit doesn’t go your way.” She scoffed. “You moved your baby mama into this house without talking to me about it. I wake up and she’s in the kitchen cooking like she lives here. There’s also respect in marriage, and it seems like you don’t fucking know what it is.”
“Do you think Capri hates me?”
“Girl, yes.” I didn’t mean to laugh, but she was asking questions like she didn’t already know the answer to them. “Me and you may be able to coexist because of CJ, and because Capone considers you family, but you and Capri may never speak or have a friendship again. I don’t blame her either… night.”
He smiled to himself, probably remembering the time when he read my flash cards to me while giving me back shots. “Yeah, you thinking about that shit too.”
I felt someone softly blowing in my face and my eyes fluttered opened. Kincaid was standing over me, gently waking me up. I found it sweet that he didn’t nudge me or startle me. “The doctor just came out. I was about to lose my fucking breath continuously blowing in your damn face.”
