“I hope you’re careful,” I whisper, locking her into my gaze. “This isn’t something you can come back from.” She sits up beside me, cautiously eyeing my mouth. “I mean it, Montana. I won’t lose you again. I won’t survive it.”
“You gonna be a good boy for me?” I ask, rolling my hand up the soft, taut flesh. “The best boy.” He swallows. “I’ll be whatever you want as long as I’m yours.”
