i gotta be honest i dont understand the point of these chapters. they serve almost no purpose other than telling us that theyve loved each other for several centuries and occasionally spouting off some liberal talking point that then gets glossed over in terms of the actual book. theyre entirely too repetitive, we haven't learned ANYTHING new in them so far
