After receiving what he believed was a vision from the Lord, he came out of retirement and near seclusion and announced: “Believers today are more sick and more broke than I have ever before seen in my life!” The solution to these great needs, according to Roberts’ statement was, “We’ve got to get back to preaching the Cross! . . . and from the belly!”
