“I have your body mapped out in every way a person could, yet I've never allowed myself to explore it. You're intoxicating in ways even a bottle of scotch can't get to me,”
“Why do you want me, Xavier?” I question, still motionless. “Because you're a fire, love,” He says, my heart racing, “a fire that I plan on kindling,”
“Because I crave your love,” he says, his lips grazing over my nose, “and want no one but me to be able to know you like a map,” he continues, his hands moving along my curves, “I want to paint your body with my lips, and know your every want,”
“Your smile has haunted me for more time than you know. Drawing it only grows the pain of not being able to see it each time you look at me,” I feel his pain. It's the same pain he hides from everyone. “I drew you for the same reason,”
“I feel your presence intoxicate me,” I continue, his body no longer backing away. He stands still, his eyes dead set on me. “What are you so afraid of?” He snaps, his wall cracking under the pressure. Moving toward me, my back hits the wall. His hands grasp the sides of my face, his fears swirling within him like a floodgate waiting to burst. “Losing you!”
“You can't bring them all down, Dove. Nothing is worth watching you die because I was not strong enough to stay away,” he whispers, “One kiss and I can never walk away. One kiss and I am yours until the day my heart stops,”
“Hate you?” He questions, his head shaking, “Forest, I’m in love with you.”
“I fell in love with a girl I wasn't supposed to. Everything before your daughter was filled with a vile hatred,'' Fallan begins, the smile in his voice heard, even from behind this wall, “Everything after that night was only her. I will live for her, and I will die for her, as long as it means she gets some peace in this world,”
