Ask Not: The Kennedys and the Women They Destroyed

Kennedy men have been valorized and lionized for nearly a century, but the women they’ve broken, tormented, raped, murdered, or left for dead have never really been part of their legacy.

“What we need in the United States is not division; what we need in the United States is not hatred; what we need in the United States is not violence or lawlessness; but love and wisdom, and compassion toward one another, and a feeling of justice toward those who still suffer within our country, whether they be white or they be black…

Of course, no one asked the question: If they really thought such a woman should be at home, then what were Kennedy men doing out with a single mother at 3:00 a.m.?

Americans care about their past, but for short term gain they ignore it and tear down everything that matters.
