I also chose a combination of the Mossy Oak Shadow Grass pattern as the base with jute/burlap. I personally feel a lot of the standard ghillie camo colors appear to be too dark, likely because of military usage after dark. Whereas the slightly lighter Mossy Oak patterns blend perfectly in the hardwoods and weeds of our Midwest timber and prairies. I personally only ordered the ¾ length because I found that was all that was necessary when shooting from a seated position or occasionally standing in brush.
